About you

You’re a self-motivated, problem-solving digital marketing coordinator with a love for Paid Social and Display Advertising. You have a love of data, analytics, but also have wicked skills in content marketing, copywriting and love creating great social content and ad creative.

You are a hard worker and are results-driven. You have an understanding of the Meta and Google Ads Platforms at a minimum and you’re passionate about working with authentic brands and supporting them to grow their business. You’re motivated to establish your own path and have a desire to further develop your skillset and enjoy collaborating as part of a team.

The Role

The Digital Marketing & Paid Ads Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Managing Director and Digital & Social Strategist in the management of Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads, Google Advertising and Pinterest Advertising clients.

Your role includes assisting in the management of Meta, Google and Pinterest Ad campaigns for our clients including Ad Campaign set up, account monitoring and optimisation, as well as support creating client ad strategies, ad copy and creative as well as client communications where required.

This role as required wil alsol include assisting with content development and community management for Society State, Email Marketing support, Content Writing (Blog Posts), as well as ad-hoc project support where required.

Location: Work-from-home

Time Commitment: This is a sub-contractor role, approximately 1-2 days (7-15hrs per week) spread throughout the week.

Key Selection Criteria


  • 2-3+ years of experience in social media management and/or performance marketing from an agency, brand or freelance experience, with a strong understanding of platform-specific best practices.
  • A great storyteller with the ability to produce compelling written and visual content that engages audiences and stakeholders
  • Ability to tap into moments of trend and incorporate into content
  • Experience with paid social campaigns & using Facebook Business Manager & Google Ads Manager platforms
  • Proficiency in content creation tools, strong copywriting abilities, and familiarity with social listening platforms
  • Understanding of Facebook Business Manager, Canva, and content performance reporting
  • Details oriented and a keen eye for design
  • Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder engagement abilities, and a proactive mindset towards industry shifts and evolving digital landscapes
  • Permanent work rights to work in Australia with no restrictions


  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Graphic Design
  • Experience using: WordPress, Canva, G-Suite
